A lot has occurred because the passing of Chanel’s most iconic artistic director Karl Lagerfeld, leaving the sphere open to newer interpretation. Present Inventive Director, Virginie Viard brings a youthful, extra edgy vibe to the historic French model whereas retaining the signatures of the French luxurious maison. And that opens out a world of experimentation for us right here at Verve, and the chance to current a particular perspective that performs with expectations of who matches the model’s quintessential aesthetic.

“The thought was to give attention to Chanel classics and break a stereotype, to supply a contemporary new perspective,” says Verve’s model improvement and artistic guide, Nitya Arora who selects tweed skirt units, pearls and knit attire from Chanel’s Pre-Fall and Autumn/Winter 2021 collections to model mannequin Tarun Panwar. “He has such a fantastic and robust face, and he carried off the pink lips completely,” provides Arora. “And there’s a softness about him that can be very Chanel.”
