A few weeks in the past we reported that Google was sending out its first batch of handbook actions (Google penalties) to information publications for Google Information and Google Uncover coverage violations. Nicely, I’m completely satisfied to report that Google is processing and even eradicating a few of these handbook actions already.

That could be a tremendous quick response time being that we have seen take a number of months to filter out lately.

Glenn Gabe posted on Twitter saying he’s “seeing a number of publishers that acquired handbook actions for violating Uncover & Google Information insurance policies have these handbook actions eliminated.” He mentioned this was performed “after adjustments have been applied & reconsideration requests filed.” Yea, this was a really fast turnaround time for Google with these handbook actions.

As a reminder, a few 12 months in the past, Google first launched pointers round handbook actions for Google Uncover and Google Information. Have in mind, these handbook actions to not affect net search, they need to solely affect Google Uncover and Google Information.
