After its debut in Madrid on 13 June, Cartier’s Beautés du Monde excessive jewelry assortment has now arrived in Singapore for less than its second presentation. Taking on the Grand Ballroom at Capella Singapore, greater than 200 creations by Cartier are on show, an exploration of the maison’s newest and best artworks.
The scenography tracks that of the Madrid exhibition, which was conceptualised by Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon and held on the former British Embassy, a Brutalist constructing unused since 2009. By combining soothing lighting, pleasing colors, and comfortable rounded arches, home windows and frames, the exhibition takes friends on a transportive, meandering journey by salons divided into 5 distinct themes: Cultural World, World of Wildlife, Mineral World, Particular Orders, and Diamond and Centre Stones.
Cartier’s launch for this summer time’s excessive jewelry season, the Beautés du Monde assortment represents the maison’s quest to find and seize the wonders the world has to supply, amongst an enormous array of pure phenomena and historic references like iguanas, coral reef atolls, water lilies, ammonite fossils, and serpents, each actual and mythological.

An aerial efficiency, and a live performance by American musical vocal group Sister Sledge accompanied friends from dinner to dancing late into the night time.
